Ancient Galatia is located in the central regions of modern-day Turkey. Evidently the good news was preached to the inhabitants of this ancient city, known as Galatians and from biblical records they accepted the message the way it was preached to them. But along the line some false prophets whose god is their stomach and whose stomach is their god infiltrated their midst and started preaching a different message that is not in accordance with the original message that they received. When apostle Paul heard this he wrote them a letter and in the book of Galatians chapter 1, this is what exactly he said in part of verse 7: ‘’Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion…’’. He was so furious that in chapter 3 and verse 1 of the same book he had to throw all caution in the wind and told them his mind, and this is exactly what he told them: ‘’You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Have you taken leave of your senses? Something crazy has happened…’’.
I am 100% sure that some persons have bewitched the President, his Vice and all the members of the PDP presidential campaign team and like apostle Paul said ‘’they have taken leave of their senses’’. The politics of ethnicity and religion was started in its current dimension by the PDP and it was taken to all time high by the current administration. President Goodluck Jonathan has perfected the art of using religion and ethnicity as a tool for political divide and conquer. But the strange thing is that the tool he has perfected and plans to use as a means of getting re-elected in the 2015 elections is the same tool that may cause him the same election.
The presidential campaign rally of the PDP held in Jigawa state and the stoning of the president’s campaign train in Bauchi confirmed my long held suspicion that the PDP as a political party has been bewitched, probably by insiders or outsiders parading as insiders. During the campaign rally in Jigawa the Vice President Namadi Sambo according to news reports told his audience: ‘’Buhari has selected a pastor as his running mate, do you know how many churches he has? He has 5000 churches, so based on that don’t vote for them’’. All these where said in the presence of President Jonathan a ‘’Christian’’. What can one call that if not bewitchment and work of an enemy?
The PDP has used all means and platform to tell Nigerians that Buhari asked Muslims to vote for only Muslims (this matter has been investigated and it was discovered Buhari never said that). Now the vice president stood on a rally ground and told his audience not to vote for Buhari because he is associating with Christians, in other words he was telling them to vote for Jonathan because he associates with Muslims, chaii PDP who has bewitched you? And this is the same President that has ‘’I am a Christian’’ as one of the pillars of his argument for winning the election. The implication of this is that since Jonathan has a consummate Muslim as a running mate, Christians should not vote for him. VP Sambo said Muslims should not vote for a Buhari that has a pastor with 5000 churches as running mate rather they should vote for a Jonathan that has Islam personified as a running mate. Now please tell me who actually wants to ISLAMIZE Nigeria? The question to ask is ‘’is Jonathan really a Christian’’? And ‘’is Buhari really a religious fundamentalist’’?
The Vice President’s speech in Jigawa was not a fluke or spur of the moment, it was someone’s idea and it was well rehearsed and I can imagine that whoever came up with the idea of that statement is among the enemies ‘’within’’ or enemies ‘’without’’ pretending to be ‘’within’’ who has bewitched PDP and thrown them into confusion and is determined to make them push the self destruct button. Also the finger pointing between the governor of Bauchi state Isa Yuguda a PDP governor and the FCT minister Bala Mohammed a member of the PDP on who actually threw stones on the president’s convoy during his campaign rally in Bauchi state is another indication that someone has put a pot in the fire against the PDP and has thrown them into confusion.
Is this the end of the road for this regime and PDP? Has all the propaganda they have been bandying about against Buhari all turning around to haunt and set them against themselves. If President Jonathan looses the February election, which given the realities on ground has a very high possibility the blame should be put at the door steps of the president, his handlers and campaign team. The biggest party in Africa, who has bewitched you?
