A civil society group Procurement Observation and Advocacy Initiative ,PRADIN has urged NEITI to stay action on the controversial contract affairs rocking the agency . PRADIN in a statement today by its National Coordinator ,Mohammed B. Attah said inter alia: ”We write. ….to request a stay of action on the planned signing of the contract agreement between NEITi and the two bidders:Sada Idris& co and Haruna Yahaya & co.”
“The above request is based on the recent investigations conducted by the National Assembly ,the unanswered questions by the management of NEITI and the conflicting reports on the conduct of the selection process.These have raised. The fundamental questions on whether the process was transparent and whether those to undertake the assignment have the legal and professional expertise.”
