Governorship aspirant in Kaduna and Danburam of Zazzau, Alhaji Sani Shaaban has extolled the Emir of Zazzau, Dr Shehu Idris for his leadership style and patience.
In an early Sallah message, Shaaban also encouraged Muslim worshippers to observe COVID-19 safety protocols throughout the festive period.
Danburam described Dr Idris as “an epitome of tolerance whose inspiring presence and untiring efforts to keep the public peace and ensure communal harmony, has remained unequalled.
According to him, “this generation and the coming ones owe immeasurable gratitude to the Emir, whose leadership, sacrifice, statesmanship, patriotism and unwavering commitment to peaceful coexistence among the people of Zazzau, Northern Nigeria, and citizens of Nigeria as a whole has few parallels in the nation.
“As we prepare to celebrate the coming Eid festivities, we should draw inspiration from the works and patience of the Emir and strive, in all we do, to live by the personal and social values and standards he set for himself as Emir, father, and leader,” Shaaban said.
“I call on Muslims to strictly adhere to the public road safety regulations and avoid unnecessary incidents as we celebrate the Eid, which is another act of service that should draw mankind closer to the creator,” Shaaban further said.
Urging strict adherance to the universal COVID-19 safety standards, the Danburam expressed optimism that the pandemic shall soon be over as “everything that has a beginning must have an end.”
