Reports Monday morning said Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Saturday stormed the Maitama residence of Atiku Abubakar’s son.
During the raid two sons of a former Governor of Abia State, Theodore Orji were arrested , The Eagle Online has reported .
According to the online newspaper, the arrest was carried out in an apartment in Maitama area of Abuja, where the sons of Orji, now a senator, have a flat to themselves, and two sons of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, also have a flat.
EFCC was allegedly searching for Atiku’s money suspected to have been stashed in the apartment.
