3 IDPs Killed, 17 Injured As Suicide Bombers Attack Camps

At least three Internally Displaced Persons,IDPs were killed Sunday night in Dalori camps as suicide bomber  detonated explosives.

Abdulkadir ibrahim, Information officer NEMA North East who confirmed the blasts in a statement .

He said “At about 11.20 pm yesterday night two suicide bombers (a male and female) detonated their improvised explosive device at Dalori 1 Internally Displaced Persons ( IDP) camp leading to the death of three IDPs while seventeen others were injured.”

he also disclosed that another incident occurred at Dalori 2 IDP camp where a suicide bomber was intercepted leading to the death of the suicide bomber.

The injured persons have been administered with first aid and moved to hospitals in Maiduguri.
