The Federal Government has bestowed an award of excellence on the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) as best hospital in effective service delivery.
The award was conveyed to the Chief Medical Director of the hospital by Abdull AIi El-Zaki, Head, Reform Coordination and Service Improvement in the Federal Ministry of Health.
El-Zaki said the teaching hospital was recognised for distinguished performance in providing effective healthcare services to its customers.
“By this award, it is expected that your dedication towards providing quality healthcare services and ensuring customers’ satisfaction will be significantly and sustainably maintained.
“Kindly accept the best regards of the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare,” he stated. (NAN)
