Youths from Lavun, Edati and Mokwa local government area of Niger state on Monday besieged the Government House in Minna over what they termed as manipulation of results of the House of Assembly Primaries for APC.

The youths who were peaceful in their conduct had placards of different captions showing their displeasure over the conduct of the primaries.
The placards read,  “2019, Sai Ndagi Babbah, no more Isah again”, “Mr. Gov. Ndagi Babbah is our winner in Lavun. We need justice, not injustice, yes, to avoid calamity in our community”, “We need certificate for our candidate”, “Ndagi 17,765, Isah 893”.
One of the protesters from Lavun local government area, Alhassan Ahmed alleged that they heard that the sitting member of the House of Assembly,  Isah Waka has been named the winner of the primaries as against Ndagi Baba who, they claimed,  won the election.
“All we are here for is for the Governor to give orders that the real result be announced and the authentic winner given his mandate. We so not want the result to be manipulated. “
Yusuf Ahmed from Edati local government claimed that the electoral officer sent to the local government area did not show up, “They sat in Bida to cook the result that they are releasing now. We will not allow it. For peace to reign, let the authentic winners be announced.”
