President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the composition of a Presidential Committee to study and draw up the Implementation Strategy for the 2014 National Conference.
A statement by Oise D. Johnson, assistant director (press) office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation said named members of thecommitte to include “Mohammed Bello Adokie, SAN Honourable Attorney-General of the Federation & Minister of Justice-Chairman ;Senator Idris A. Umar Honourable Minister of Transport-Member ;Ambassador Bashir Yuguda Honourable Minister of State for Finance-Member ;Mr. OsitaChidoka Honourable Minister of Aviation-Member ;OloyeOlajumokeAkinjide Honourable Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory Administration- Member (vi)Architect Mike Onolememen Honourable Minister of Works-Member and Senator Anyim Pius Anyim,GCON Secretary to the Government of the Federation-Member/ Secretary
The Terms of Reference are include:To study the Report of the 2014 National Conference ;to articulate the recommendations therein and develop appropriate strategies for its implementation and to advise Government on all matters necessary for the effective implementation of the Report.
Also, “the Committee is encouraged to take off immediately” the statement said.
