Former Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo, was kidnapped on Saturday morning by gun-wielding in Efunrun, Delta State.
Obodo, who plays for Italian clubside Udinese arrived the country few weeks ago after the conclusion of the Serie A season.
Eyewitness said the ex- Flying Eagles star was snatched from the Zion Ministry Church located on New Layout Road, Efunrun, by the gunmen.
His fate was uncertain at the time of this report.
