A fresh round of gun battle has been reported today in Kano.Fighting was said to have broken out between gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram and security forces.The battle began at Dala .
Figthing which is believed to have erupted at Dala spread to Sharada.However, some residents of the city were not aware of details today’s fighting.When contacted a resident said “I have heard of it but I really don’t have the details”.But the eagleonline.com.ng reported that ,“The suspected Boko Haram members are said to have taken over the road linking Dala and Sharada.”
Mohammed Dutse, spokesperson of the Kano State Police Command has reportedly confirmed the fresh fighting.
