#TrackNigeria: A non-political group, Kwara Youth Unity Forum, has advised the people of Ilorin West Local Government, Kwara, to vote for the House of Assembly candidate, Alhaji Abdulmajeed Oba-Kawu for better and quality representation.
The Coordinator of the forum, Mr Ismail Alada, gave the advice in a statement in Ilorin on Wednesday.
Oba-Kawu is contesting for the House of Assembly seat for Alanamu/Ajikobi Constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to Alada, the candidate deserves the people’s vote in view of what he has done for them in Asa and Ilorin West Local Government Areas of the state.
Alada, who commended Oba-Kawu for his philanthropic services to the people, irrespective of their religious and political leanings, urged the people repay the candidate with their votes.
He recalled that the candidate renovated the Alanamu Mosque and constructed boreholes for the people of Alanamu/Ajikobi constituency.
He also stated that Oba-Kawu paid school fees of 150 students in the constituency and purchased WASC, NECO, JAMB and NABTEB forms for 250 students.
He also said that the candidate organised one million man-match in support of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and PDP.
“Oba-Kawu provides Plasma TV, Generators and Computers to all ABS constituency offices in Ilorin West and Asa Local Government Areas,“he said.
“He has also empowered 250 people with N20, 000 each to aid their businesses, “Alada said.
The coordinator said the candidate had touched the lives of many people in the constituency, particularly the widows, women and students. (NAN)
