The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has commenced a full-scale investigation into the shooting of Mr. David Ikechukwu in Kubwa on November 9, 2024. The incident reportedly involved unidentified gunmen allegedly operating from a tricycle and dressed in blue and black uniforms.

According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, a comprehensive investigation has been ordered to apprehend the perpetrators and unravel the circumstances surrounding the attack.

“The FCT Police Command assures the public that a dedicated team of detectives is actively investigating all aspects of the case,” the statement read. “This investigation aims to provide clarity and hold those involved accountable for their actions.”

The Command also called on members of the public to remain calm and cooperate with law enforcement agencies in their efforts to ensure justice is served.

The FCT Police Command reiterated its commitment to maintaining the safety and security of all residents in the territory. Further updates on the case will be provided as investigations progress.
