#TrackNigeria – The Niger state Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Sabo has disclosed that all the black spot areas identified across the state have been raided.
This, he said, was to ensure that there are no elements planning surprise attacks during and after the elections.
Speaking to newsmen in Minna, the Police Commissioner said that those arrested during the raids are currently in police custody.
Sabo further said that over 6500 policemen have been deployed across the state for Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections to enable the people exercise their franchise freely.
He said that the Police is ready for the elections, “We want to tell the people of Niger state to come out and vote. They will be protected before, during and after casting their votes.”
