Eid-El-Kabir: Okiro Congratulates Muslim Faithful

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Mr Mike Okiro, has called for sober reflection and gratitude to Allah for seeing the nation through a challenging period in our existence as a nation. Okiro made the call while felicitating with Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir.
While lamenting the havoc the nation’s detractors have wreaked, almost to the point of breaking up the country, Okiro applauded the efforts of the citizens and security agents in containing the insurgency.
He also advised the citizens to take lessons from the current situation and resolve more assiduously to unite the country and protect the legacy of the present administration to transform the country into one of the foremost nation in the universe.
Okiro also advised all Nigerians to be security conscious during the celebration and report all suspicious objects, movements and persons to the police.
