Buhari condoles with Dahiru Mangal over son’s death, sends delegation to Katsina

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the family of Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal, the government and people of Katsina State following the tragic death of his son, Nuraddeen Dahiru Mangal.

The president’s condolence message is contained in statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Friday.

In the condolence message delivered in Katsina on his behalf by a delegation led by Abubakar Malami, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Buhari said he was deeply saddened to learn about the demise of Nuraddeen.

The president described the deceased as an enterprising young man.

He said: “My heartfelt condolences are with you at this moment of intense grief.

”I pray to the Almighty to bestow strength upon you and your family to bear this irreparable loss.”

In his response, the father of the deceased, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal, thanked the president for sending the delegation.

The delegation which was received by the Gov. Aminu Masari of Katsina State included the Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika, the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Amb. Ahmed Rufa’i and Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity. (NAN)
