Kano state Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has said that he is still consulting friends and political associates on whether to join the race of 2015 presidential race or not. His words “As we started consultation on whether to join the race of 2015 presidential race, we have seen a lot of admirers and a lot of true enemies. Some people who have never met me; have sent to me copies of my posters calling on me to join the race.
“Although some of these posters were sent to me since last two years with a logo of PDP, therefore I directed my aides to destroy PDP posters and keep the APC ones until I make the decision.”
Gov. Kwankwaso who stated this while meeting with his political appointees at Government House, Kano on Monday, appealed to the appointees to advice him rightly on the choice to make.
Governor Rabiu disclosed that he has now become popular and people want to see him wherever he goes across the country due to the projects his government has executed in to Kano state as well as the transparent nature of his government which they want replicated at a higher level.
The governor revealed that people across the country and beyond have been calling on him to declare for the 2015 presidential race , pointing out that they assured him of their full support.
He said Nigeria needs credible people that can not only transform the nation but bring about change for the betterment of our country, noting that Kano state has witnessed a great transformation in all sectors.
Kwankwaso hoped that APC would win the state gubernatorial election and indeed all elections with a wide margin.He added that the next governor would find Kano state easy to govern.
