Unknown thugs have stormed the Nigerian Senate, disrupting plenary and made away with the mace, the symbol of Authority.
It is suspected that the invaders are loyal to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, who was recently suspended by the Upper Chamber.
As at press time, the Senate has been forced to go into a closed session while security has been beefed up at the National Assembly.
