The alleged suspension of Comr. Nicholas Omoko, the President-General of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU Youth Wing Worldwide, has been described as baseless and false from the pit of hell.

This was disclosed by the President General, Comr. Nicholas Omoko in a statement issued explaining that he remained the PG Youth Wing of the Urhobo apex socio-cultural group.

The Urhobo youth leader hinted that one Ovie Ebireri and his co-travellers who are in mainstream All Progressives Congress (APC) group in the state forged signatories of some members in an attempt to suspend him, saying the action was highly resisted by other members of the group.

He noted that none of the persons who attempted to remove him were present or attended the endorsement of Governor Okowa second term and production of compendium to showcase the governor’s achievements in Urhobo Nation by the Urhobo Youth Wing, under the leadership of Comrade Nicholas Omoko, saying they were recalcitrant APC members.

Comr. Omoko stated that security agencies were already investigating the alleged crime of perjury committed by Ovie Ebireri and assured that justice would be done to serve as deterrent to others.

The Statement also added that the said Ovie Ebireri was a card carrying member of APC whom members distant themselves from alleging that he was worked against Governor Okowa’s reelection bid and interest of the group.

He also alleged that only four out of 24 executives were present in the alleged suspension meeting and clarified that it was only the National Executive Committee (NEC) of parent body of UPU that had the right to suspend and that Youth Wing could only complain to the parent body.

He however assured all to be calm saying the said Ovie Ebireri was currently on the run, just as he said that security agents would soon swoop on him.
