Deputy Governor of Sokoto state, Barrister Mukhtari Shehu Shagari has disclosed that his support for President Goodluck Jonathan was un-doubtful.
He made the disclosure on Wednesday at the distribution of 267 motorcycles and five number of Peugeot 406 cars to PDP leaders in the State.
“Our support to the President is based on merit and making sure that he deserve to lead as we have seen,” Shagari said while describing the president as a trusted leader who lives by examples.
Shagari explained that the motorcycles were for the 244 ward chairmen and 23 local government PDP secretaries while the cars were for the State PDP Secretary, Youth leader, Woman leader, Zonal Vice Chairman Sokoto South and Campaign Director of Shagari for Governor 2015.
He hoped that the PDP would form government in Sokoto in order to educate as well as provide good governance to the people.
State PDP chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma expressed his appreciation for Shagari and called for people’s support for him.
