Dr Luka Panya Baba, the Esu Karu in Nasarawa State, has urged Eggon Community has called on communities across the state to live in peace, unity and brotherhood, irrespective of their affiliations for development to thrive.
Baba made the call on Monday while receiving some leaders of the Eggon community from Karu Local Government Area of the state.
”I want to appreciate you for the visit and to assure you of my continued readiness to work with you in order to promote peace in this area.
“Peace is priceless and non negotiable. It is the necessary requirement for the development of every society.
”Your continued support and cooperation has brought and is still bringing peace and unity in Karu,’’ he said.
The Esu Karu also called on the people to give priority to the education of their children considering.
Earlier, Chief Aku Aliku, the Wakilin (representative) of Eggon Community said that the visit was to celebrate with the first class traditional ruler in the New Year.
He said that the visit was also to appreciate Esu Karu for promoting peace in his domain.
“We are here to rejoice, identify and thank you for promoting peace in Karu. We want to assure you of our continued readiness to support and give you all the necessary support to succeed,’’ he said.
Aliku prayed God to continue to protect and guide the first class traditional ruler.
