The Sokoto Police Command Thursday paraded a 19-year old Munirat Bagana, an indigene of Zuru local government area of Kebbi state for alleged suffocation of her infant child to death.
A student of Sokoto state School of Health Technology, Gwadabawa, Munirat, who denied killing the child but that she had him as still-birth, was arrested Monday after dumping the dead child in a dust bin.
Parading the suspect before news men, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Cordelia Nwawe said she would soon be charged for prosecution, after investigation is concluded.
In a similar vein, the Command paraded one Nnamdi Nwafor, aged 32 who allegedly specialises in stealing vehicles at churches.
Nnamdi is alleged to trail car owners to church, was arrested in Kaduna, through intelligence gathering, with a stolen Mercedes Benz.
The said Benz was alleged to have been stolen at a Catholic Church along Ahmadu Bello Way, Sokoto.
