The Senior Special Assistant on Youth in Ogbia to Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, Osaanya B. Osaanya has thanked youths of the area for turning out in their numbers in last Saturday’s solidarity rally for the governor.
Osaanya in a statement, commended them for showing so much love to the governor by coming out to honour and appreciate him for the support he has given to Ogbia people and the many developmental projects he has set aside N1 billion for.
He expressed delight that despite all attempts by authorities of the council to scuttle the rally because of selfish interest and political sentiments, the youths still came out and conducted themselves in the most peaceful manner to celebrate Gov. Dickson as their hero and icon.
Osaanya said the success of the rally was a strong indication that Ogbia youths are united and ready to go all the way with the restoration government even in the face of provocation by empty elements and those who champion the anti-Ogbia agenda.
The youth leader also thanked the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Kemela Okara and other notable leaders of Ogbia kingdom who graced the event and the kind words of encouragement they gave to the youths.
While pledging the total support of Ogbia youths to the governor and his restoration government, Osaanya equally used the opportunity to wish Dickson a happy 52nd birthday, adding that God will continue to bless and prosper him with good and sound health.
