Contenders for the Kaduna Central Senatorial seat are believed to be rattling at the sweeping popularity of Lawal Adamu Usman (Mr LA) across the seven local government areas that make up the district.
Making the disclosure in a press statement titled “LA Set to Conquer”, Mr LA’s special consultant on media, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman said opponents are visibly rattled and disorganized by the young man’s soaring popularity profile.
He disclosed that in reciprocating the phenomenal support accorded to the aspirant, the Mr LA campaign train has finalized arrangements for a “meet the people” tour of all the seven local government areas involved.
“The Mr LA initiative has already transformed into a mass movement that is sweeping beyond the boundaries of the seven local government areas of Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Chikun, Kajuru, Igabi, Birnin Gwari and Giwa which make up the Senatorial district.
“In answer to the people’s yearnings, the LA train is set for a tour of the seven local government areas at which the aspirant would interact directly with the grassroots.
“Mr LA’s growing popularity and mass appeal is majorly earned by his gift of the ability to represent the hopes, aspirations and the interests of both his admirers and opponents alike.
“He is one political actor with a rare blend of the wisdom of the old and the dynamism of the younger generation.
“His chief qualities are his characters that are natural, often backed by skills, experiences, intelligence, integrity, with instincts – all combined together to achieve his goals, and the overall happiness of the people he aspires to represent in politics.
“LA’s best selling point as a politician is honesty, which makes him trustworthy and reliable; as he captures the essence of truth, displays sincerity and practices what he preaches; makes decisions and accepts responsibility for his actions and his words.
“In his dealings with people; he makes promises and keeps those promises, loves people with all his heart, might, mind, soul and strives to help them as a true mark of responsible politician.
