The U-18 and U-20 Nigeria Handball teams on Friday departed Kaduna for Niger ahead of the African Handball Confederation (CAHB) International Handball Federation (IHF) Zone 3 Trophy.
HFN Secretary Mohammed Maigidansanma said in Abuja that the IHF Zone 3 Trophy would hold from April 9 to April 14 in Niamey, Niger.
Maigidansanma said that the teams departed Kaduna on Friday en route Sokoto to Niger.
He said that 28 players in each category were in camp out of which 14 players were selected for each team.
The federation opened camping for U-18 and U-20 players ahead of the IHF Zone 3 Trophy on March 5, in Kaduna.
The CAHB Africa Zone 3 event in Niamey, was earlier slated for March 25 to March 30 but was moved to April 9 and April 14. (NAN)
