The Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Muftuang, has officially endorsed Luft Pay TV, describing it as a major boost for local initiatives in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
Speaking at the Grand Opening and dinner of Luft Pay TV on Sunday in Abuja, Muftuang emphasized the value of promoting variety, quality, and local options in Nigerian media. He urged citizens to support the initiative, which offers affordable, quality programming.
“We should provide people with high-quality choices at economic prices, and ensure profit is shared with those who make business possible. I commend this effort and encourage Nigerians to patronize Luft TV. It’s an outstanding initiative,” he stated.
Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, also in attendance, highlighted the advantages of Luft’s pay-per-view model. He noted that this option allows viewers to pay only for the content they wish to watch, providing flexibility during tough economic times.
“The content should focus on news, youth, sports, documentaries, history, and, most importantly, Nigeria’s culture and heritage. This is the direction Nigeria needs,” Sule added.
Luft Pay TV founder Dr. Bright Echefu shared that the platform’s launch represents a new era in Nigerian entertainment, with services designed to cater to the country’s diverse audience. Echefu highlighted features such as crystal-clear HD quality, multi-device compatibility, and affordable subscription plans.
“Our service delivers a premium entertainment experience with a lineup that includes Nollywood hits, live sports, global news, reality TV, and a Kiddies Channel for educational programming. Our motto, ‘Together Forever,’ embodies our mission to connect Nigerians across distances, bringing a sense of home through exceptional television,” Echefu said.
