Tambuwal, Sultan Condole FCT Minister Over Loss Of Mother

Late Hajiya Aisha MohammedThe official residence of the FCT Minister was a beehive of activities on Monday as eminent personalities from all walks of life trooped in in large numbers to condole over the death of his mother, Hajiya Aisha Jummare Mohammed.
Top on the list of sympathizers who thronged the Minister’s residence was the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
Honourable Tambuawal who paid the condolence visit to the Minister in Gwarinpa I District (Life-Camp) Abuja, was accompanied by many members of the National Assembly.
The Speaker described the death as sad and prayed to Allah for the repose of her soul.
The Speaker who extoled the deceased as a quintessential woman who has lived and sacrificed her life in the service of Allah and humanity, further prayed for those she left behind the fortitude the bear the irreparable loss.
The Sultan of Sokoto and President Nigeria Supreme Council on Islamic Affairs also paid sympathy visit on the Minister over the death of his mother.
The Sultan who was represented at the occasion by the Emir of Lafia and Chairman Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Mustapha Isa Agwai I, presented a Condolence Letter to the Minister.
The letter reads in part, “I write to commiserate with you over the death of your beloved mother, Hajiya Aishatu Mohammed. May Allah (SWT) continue to shower His Magfirah and Rahmah on her soul. It is also our prayers that He will pardon her and admit her among the dwellers of Aljannatul fidous, amin”.
The Sultan also prayed for the repose of her gentle soul and the immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Oga Onawo, accompanied the Emir of Lafia on the condolence visit.
Responding, the FCT Minister, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON, appreciated the visit and the encomium showered on his mother as well as the prayers to the entire Mallam Mohammed Yusuf family.
Some eminent Nigerians who also paid condolence visit on the Minister today in Life-Camp, Abuja include the Commandant, Brigade of Guards, Brigadier GenerAL, AB Omozoje, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Public Accounts, Senator Ahmed Lawan, Hajiya Blao Shagaya, MD Pract Oil Limited, former FCT Minister, Engr. Mohammed Abba-Gana and Abraham Nwankwo, Director Generator, Debt Management Office.
