- The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has opened a new portal for the registration and renewal of licences for insurance companies and agents.
- NAICOM management disclosed in Abuja on Wednesday, that the new portal would fast track and streamline licensing of insurance agents.
- The Commission said that the portal would also reduce manual intervention in the issuance of licensing processes.
- NAICOM said that all applications for registration and renewal of agency licences should, “henceforth, be submitted using; https://agent.naicom.gov.ng on the new portal with effect from Aug.1.’’
- The Commission advised that, all applications yet to be registered on the old portal, should be submitted through the new licensing agents’ portal.
- “All registered agents and insurance companies are hereby advised to note the above and be guided accordingly,’’ the Commission stressed. (NAN)
