The Kebbi State government has said that the Petroleum Subsidy Re-investment funds will be used for creation of 3, 000 jobs.
This was made known by the chairman of the fund’s Implementation Committee, Alhaji Samailu Haliru, in his statement on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi.
Speaking further, Halliru said degree and diploma holders would be trained to set up their business. This is a way to reduce unemployment in Nigeria and give life meaning to young ones.
He also added that the National Directorate of employment would conduct the training and that each participant would pay N10, 000 (Ten thousand naira) as training allowance.
