Suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria,CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen has appeared personallyfor arraignment at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT in Abuja, reports said Friday morning.
It could be recalled that the CCT had issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Onnoghen following his failure to appear before court.
Reports Friday however said he was not eventually arrested as he appeared at the CCT accompanied by lawyers and security operatives.
Onnoghen is facing trial over alleged failure to declare his assets. Recent reports also indicate that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has filed another petition against the suspended CJN .The latest petition has been received by the National Judicial Council, NJC
