A political forum in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, PDP Integrity Group, has accused the State Youth Leader of the party of extorting tens of millions of Naira from some political office seekers in Southern Kaduna.

Consequently, members of the group have passed a vote of no confidence on the leader, Hon. Boniface Garba who hails from the area.

A statement signed by 38 leaders of thought and political chieftains alleged that Hon. Garba collected over thirty-one million Naira from five aspirants who contested for various positions in the recent PDP primaries in the state.

According to the statement, “In view of the above, we the good people of Sanga LGA PDP hereby demand for the immediate removal and replacement of Hon. Boniface Garba if the PDP is to emerge victorious in Sanga LGA during the next general elections” they declared.

The group which condemned what it called “unbecoming tendencies” of Boniface Garba also accused him of reckless handling of party affairs in the state.

But in a swift reaction on behalf of the youth leader, a Special Assistant to Governor Ramalan Yero on Media, Mr. Tanko Rossi Sabo described the allegation as baseless and malicious saying that the action was the handiwork of those who lost in the primaries.

The media aide to the Governor said the State PDP Youth Leader was not only a respected person, but also of high integrity who stands tall among his peers.

Mr. Tanko Sabo challenged those making the allegations to pin point what they had offered in the community that could be compared to those of the State PDP Youth Leader, who championed the emergence of various political office holders from the area.
