The National Chairman of Atiku Care Foundation (ACF), Amb. Aliyu Bin Abbas has said that the Foundation’s commitment to the Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi 2019 presidential project is “total and unwavering.”

He also said that no amount of campaign of calumny against it would derail its otherwise “healthy, accommodating and out-reaching campaign” in the common cause of electing Atiku Abubakar as President of Nigeria.

The ACF dismissed media reports that about 136 of its members who are allegedly aggrieved had threatened to abandon the campaign project of the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, stressing that it would not be willing to collaborate with saboteurs and professional spoilers or paid groups who will do anything to put a clog on its wheel of progress.

According to Abbas, the so called ‘136 Atiku Support groups’ who were parading themselves and causing confusion with claims of neglect and abandonment were not in any way relevant to the hopes and sustainable aspirations of Abubakar Atiku Presidential Campaign.

He maintained that those were people that are mostly interested in ensuring that “their narcissistic ambitions tied with their unscrupulous patrons is to destabilise an otherwise progressive and mass appeal follower-ship of Atiku Abubakar grows.”

The full statement:

We wish to categorically state our unavowed, unflinching and sustainable commitment to the ATIKU/OBI 2019 Presidential Project.

In this regard, we are open to every and all Nigerian at home and abroad who expresses and pursues warm and supportive intents and purposes in ensuring that come May 29, 2019, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON becomes the next President of Nigeria.

This inimitable commitment is total and unwavering. However , we understand that there are individuals and groups who will do any and everything to infiltrate, disturb, tarnish or introduce cats among pigeons in order to elicit, prompt and attempt to foist campaigns of calumny, self and situational aggrandizement so they can cast untold aspersions , hatred and commotion in an otherwise healthy, accommodating and out-reaching campaign of the common cause of electing a President Atiku Abubakar.

These are plain facts. It’s now obvious that some elements have tended to allow themselves to be used as keys and conduits to cause undue disaffection and confusion  to their perceived motive to hoist panic and trouble.

While we welcome all and sundry to our popular and teeming rallies for the election of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON , we will not be willing to collaborate with saboteurs, infiltrators, professional spoilers, paid groups who will do anything to put a spoke in our wheel of progress.

We therefore wish to state that these so named ‘136 Atiku Support groups’ who are parading and causing confusion with claims of neglect and abandonment are not in any way, shape or form relevant to the hopes, goals and sustainable aspirations of the Abubakar Atiku Presidential Campaign. They are mostly interested in ensuring that their narcissistic ambitions tied with their unscrupulous patrons to destabilise an otherwise progressive and mass appeal followership of Atiku Abubakar grows.

We will not be bothered with such flimsy levels of self destruct and distractions. We will continue to seek to work and win with everyone who means well and are outwardly nascent to our goals now and in the future.
