Danfodiyo University Raises Alarm Over Recruitment Scam

Following its recent employment exercise, the management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Sokoto (UDUTHS) has alerted the public to beware of the recruitment scam.
A statement signed and issued by Acting Chief Medical Director (CMD), Dr. Anas Sabir in Sokoto today, explained that the recent recruitment exercise was conducted free of charge.
“It has come to the notice of the management that some unscrupulous persons are requesting for money through text messages from applicants that took part in the 2013 Recruitment Exercise recently conducted in the Hospital,” the statement read in part adding, ”Management has never at any point in time demanded any form of payment from anybody.”
The Acting CMD advised affected candidates in particular and the general public to disregard “such unlawful claims.”
He added that the hospital management had informed relevant security agencies of the development.
