The head office of the All Progressives Congress (APC) faction in Kano has been set ablaze by .
Premium Times reported Thursday morning that despite its proximity to a mobile police barracks at Hotoro in Tarauni Local Government Area(LGA) the anti-party supporters attacked the building with little or no resistance from relevant security agencies.
The head office belongs to a factional group of APC led by Ibrahim Shekarau, former Kano State governor.
The faction is opposed by a faction of the party loyal to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
However, the party crisis escalated on October 18 when Mr Shekarau created a faction of APC in the state.
A Federal High Court in Abuja granted a requests and upheld the congresses conducted by the Shekarau led faction.
The presiding judge also made an order restraining the Ganduje faction from appointing a new executive of the party.
