#TrackNigeria: The Jigawa State Hisbah Board, says it has mobilised 335 personnel ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign visit to the state slated for Feb. 2.
The Board’s Commander, Malam Ibrahim Dahiru, made this known in Dutse on Friday.
Dahiru said the personnel were expected to partner with other security agents in providing adequate security throughout the President’s stay.
He added that the personnel would also assist in crowd and traffic control during the period.
The commander added that the mobilised personnel were advised to act professionally in the discharge of their duties during the visit.
”We advised our men to discharge their duty professionally during Mr President’s visit.
”Not only our men, all residents are advised to behave in an orderly manner during the visit.
”Our people are known to be educated and respectful, therefore, we expect them and our men to prove that they are really what they are known to be by behaving well throughout the President’s stay,” the commander said.
Dahiru urged the residents to turn out en mass and receive the President, and prayed that the visit would begin and end peacefully. (NAN)
