Reports from Abuja today said former Governor ,Central Bank of Nigeria Charles Chukwuma Soludo has been quizzed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC.His questioning is believed to be in connection with contracts during his tenure as CBN governor.
Those conversant with the development confirmed to Newsdiaryonline.com that Soludo was indeed questioned by EFCC today.It could not be confirmed as the time of writing this story whether the former governor of CBN was detained further or freed after questioning .
Attempts by Newsdiaryonline.com to confirm the development failed as the telephone number of Wilson Uwujaren, the spokesman of the commission was quite unusually unavailable.
