Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, to President Bola Tinubu, Hon. Delu Bulus Yakubu, has disclosed that the Federal Government will continue to empower the less privileged and ensure positive impact on the grassroots.

She added that the support for the underprivileged is in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, who insists that no one will be left behind in development scheme for positive development

The presidential adviser disclosed this on Wednesday during a three-day National Medical Outreach event organized by SAM Empowerment Foundation for the most vulnerable residents at Piwoyi, an outskirt of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja

Speaking on a theme titled: Bringing Quality Healthcare to the Less Privileged Through Renewed Hope Agenda,” Delu Yakubu said, “I have been involved in humanitarian efforts through widely recognized Diligence Foundation for over two decades, and I disclosed this new position as a continuation of her life’s work.

“I’ve spent the last 20 years immersed in humanitarian work. Being at this office right now is a divine appointment from above; it is not accidental.
“Our purpose is to help people in need and to serve God and humanity.

She added that President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is in line with emphasis on inclusivity and making sure no one is left behind.
She said, This set of people cannot go to certain level, so it’s important for me to go down to the grassroots to touch the lives of the poorest of the poor.

“I will extend humanitarian efforts across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, as the current initiatives mark the beginning of this extensive outreach,”

Delu Yakubu also announced her plans to reach the less privileged , citing honours from Turkey and Russia as evidence of his significant contributions.

She said, “As President’s humanitarian assistant, I promise you that even though I no longer oversee the Diligence Foundation directly, my major goal is still to make a big difference and make sure we reach those in need.

In addition to health screenings, drug distribution, and scholarships for the top students in the FCT, the event culminated with the distribution of food items to individuals with special needs.

Some of the top Federal Government functionaries that attended the event include the Minister of Education, Prof Mamman Tahir, Minister of State for Agriculture, Senator Sabi Abdullahi , Hon Commissioner for Refugees Commission, Alh Tijjani Aliyu and other important personalities.
