LASAA Develops Plans for Water Advertising



The Lagos Signage and Advertisement (LASAA) is set to explore the advertising opportunities available around Lagos waterways. Speaking at a session recently, the Head of the , Mr. George Noah explained that this is part of the ’s’ effort to a proper master plan for other sectors of the Lagos outdoor advertising market.

He noted that LASAA intends to make Lagos a foremost city in Africa and indeed the world through creative outdoor advertising experience. “LASAA is working closely with Lagos Waterways Authority to maximize the potentials and benefits of water advertising in the ”.

Speaking further, he said “we are working on developing other means of outdoor advertising aside land. These include sky and water advertising’’. He added that the aesthetics and ambiences this provide be huge for the practice of outdoor advertising in Lagos . “This platform no doubt encourage practitioners to more innovative with other medium of outdoor advertising particularly water”, said Noah.
