The leader of APC in Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states, Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and Kano Central Senatorial Candidate on Wednesday accompanied the party’s presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to the party’s Presidential Campaign Rally to Kastina state.
The state’s APC’s gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari, other candidates and teeming supporters gave a rousing welcome to Buhari, Kwankwaso and other dignitaries at the Kano-Katsina border.
They proceeded directly to the Emir’s Palace where a tumultuous crowd thronged the streets to welcome them APC’s flag bearer, Muhammad Buhari.
At the palace, Buhari told the Emir, Alhaji Abdumuminu Kabir Usman that when APC forms the central government it would restore peace, address unemployment and stop corruption.
Responding, the Emir, Alhaji Kabir Usman stressed the need for government to improve the living condition of Nigerians, praying to God Almighty to make Nigerians better after the 2015 election.
At the Katsina Polo Ground where the rally held, the place was filled by a mammoth crowd even as the people were chanting “Nigeria sai Buhari”.
The APC flag bearer promised Nigerians that APC would address insecurity, unemployment and corruption, appealing to citizens of Katsina to vote solely for APC candidates from top to bottom.
In their separate remarks, Governor Kwankwaso and the state Gubernatorial Candidate, Alhaji Aminu Masari urged the electorate to vote wisely for a better Nigeria.
