Respite As Kano Lawmakers Suspend Probe Of Emir Sanusi

Respite came the way of the Emir of Kano,  Muhammadu Sanusi II as the State  House of Assembly has suspended its  probe.

The lawmakers reached the resolution on Monday following a letter from Governor Abdullahi Ganduje which asked that the probe be halted.

Reports said the Governor’s request was  in response to appeals from prominent Nigerians.

With this development, the fears that the probe may lead to the emir’s removal have been allayed.
