The Police in Zuba Division said it killed two suspected armed robbers during a gun
battle and arrested one.
They Paraded vehicles recovered from the suspects including L/Cruiser Prado model 2010 Reg Number YAB 859 AL, black in colour that was reportedly snatched at Utako by three men who also shot the driver.
The Divisional Police Officer, Chief Superintendent Adelegan Femi explained that the two suspects died in gun battle, while the third robber was arrested with the vehicle recovered.

Man Uses Bread To Lure 13 Year-Old Girl Into Rape

A 20-year-old man, Yusuf Rabiu of Angwar London Suleja has been arrested by ‘A’ Divisional Police Headquarters for using bread to lure a 13- year- old girl into rape.
A reliable source told our correspondent that the mother of the victim had reported at the station .. that her daughter was hawking sachet water when Rabiu requested for water to eat bread.
The victim told Newsdiaryoniine that she saw Rabiu eating bread while coughing and beckoning on her for water.
“I rushed inside to give him two sachets of pure water while I left my tray outside. Immediately he pounced on me and forcefully had sexual intercourse with me”, she said.
According to her, she could not continue with the sale of the sachet water that same day
which she and her mum solely rely on for their feeding.
“I saw my daughter sobbing, blood on her dress and legs with the tray of pure water on her head”, her mother said.
The girl was later taken to Suleja General Hospital for medical examination where the doctor on duty confirmed that she was violated.
Responding, the Divisional Police Officer of ‘A’ Division Suleja, Chief Superintendent
Officer Desmond C. Okejim said Rabiu has been apprehended and was already being questioned at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Minna.
“The case has been transferred to the State CID Minna for interrogation. All enquiries should go to Minna,” he said.
Police Arrest 2 Over Conspiracy, Rape

A 22-year-old man, Abdullahi Sani and Ibrahim Saidu, 20 have been arrested by the ‘A’ Divisional Police Headquarters of Suleja over conspiracy and rape.
One Mr. Idum Emmanuel said that her daughter Emmanuel Victoria, 13 years of age was ganged raped on her way to empty dust bin at Church road Suleja.
“At about 1820hrs, my daughter went out to empty dust bin and came back home at 2030hrs, we notice blood stains on her clothes and when I asked her, she said Abdulahi Sani and Ibrahim Saidu raped her on the rocks.”
Victoria narrated: “On my way to throw away the garbage, I noticed them but it never
occurred to me that they had a plan, previously, I had noticed them making passes at me whenever they saw me, but I always ignored them.”
Reacting,the Divisional Police Officer of ‘A’ Division, Superintendent Nneka Eze said as
at the time the case was brought to the Division, she had not assumed duties as the DPO.
According to her, however, such is crime is usually transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Minna for interrogation. All enquires should go to Minna.”
ATM Fraudsters Storm Suleja

Fraudulent people mostly men have devised a means of coming to queue up at ATM in Suleja, pretending to assist you cash some money if you are finding it difficult to operate the machine.
“They give the impression as if they want to help you, by so doing they will exchange your ATM card and give you a fraudulent ATM card that equally looks like the ATM bank card you are operating on,making you think there was network problem ,that was why the ATM cannot dispense cash,” a Suleja resident in Kwamba, Andrew Edit, who was their victim said.
Edith told Newsdiaryonline that she met huge crowd in one of the old banks as she got there and she decided to join the queue.
“As soon as it got to my turn, I slotted in my ATM card, there was no response and a man also waiting to use the ATM volunteered to help me out.Unknown to me, he exchanged my card.
“I actually got to know when my phone was giving me alert on money withdrawn from my account through a designated ATM machine at home.
“I knew I had been robbed, I rushed to that ATM I cannot find the person. Thank God I had N6, 000 in my account.All the money in my account was cleared”, she added.
