The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy and sunny weather conditions with thunderstorms and rainfall over most part of Nigeria on Sunday.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook on Saturday, in Abuja predicted partly cloudy to cloudy morning over the central cities during the period.
It added that partly cloudy to sunny conditions would manifest over the region during afternoon and evening hours with day and night temperatures of 32 to 36 and 19 to 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
The agency predicted that the Northern States would experience sunny conditions throughout with day and night temperatures of 33 to 39 and 13 to 22 degrees Celsius respectively.
According to NiMet, Southern States will experience cloudy conditions over the entire region during the morning hours.
“Partly cloudy conditions are likely over the inland with prospects of thunderstorms and rains in the afternoon and evening hours with day and night temperatures of 27 to 28 and 21 to 23 degrees Celsius respectively.
“Sunny and partly cloudy conditions are expected over the Northern states, central and inland cities with thunderstorms or rain over the coastal axis of the country in the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted. (NAN)
