The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority NCAA, may release the Medview B737 aircraft that had issues on Saturday for normal flight operations.
Investigations by Newsdiaryonline on Sunday revealed that the aircraft in question has been scheduled for a test flight today by the team of NCAA inspectors to ensure its airworthiness to enable it commence normal flight operations.
At Saturday’s media briefing, the acting director general of NCAA Engr Benedict Adeyileka said “Gentlemen do not raise alarm when you see the aircraft flying, air return is a normal safety procedure in the aviation industry”
Yesterday there was a false fire alarm by passenger on board Medview aircraft morning flight to Abuja from Lagos following which the pilot made an air return
