A Zuba Upper Area Court, Abuja, on Monday sentenced a 27-year-old Storekeeper, Francis Onyekachukwu, to six months imprisonment for stealing his employer’s bus turbocharger.
Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Mr Chinedu Ogada, told the court that an Abuja-based Transport Company, Urban Mass Transit, reported the matter at the Dawaki Police Station on March 4.
Ogada said that Onyekachukwu was employed by the company as a storekeeper.
He said that the offence contravened the provisions of Section 289 of the Penal Code. (NAN)
