A hole in the heartYouths in Lagos storm the 800-seater Banquette hall of Excellence Hotel, Ogba next week Tuesday, 15th of October, 2013 a public holiday, with a stage play ‘A Hole In The Heart’, in a bid to revive the fading theatre culture in Nigeria.

Speaking recently about the event, the head of Legacy in Motion Ms. Tamara J. Ghariokwu, stated that the outreach is organized in a bid to reach out to the community and also revive the fading theatre culture in Nigeria.

A Hole In The Heart, features a story centered on the challenges of the Akanbis; a well-to-do family, who in a bid to attain fulfillment and satisfaction, are caught up in the storms of life. They battle forces within and without in search of more wealth, accomplishments and peace. Will each family member be able to fill that hole in the heart, or will they be caught up in the downward spiral that had swallowed others before?

Red carpet will start by 3pm, while the stage play will begin by 3:30pm. Lots of Captains of Industry and prolific industry stars and are billed for attendance, like Idy Enang MD/CEO L’Oreal Central West Africa, Olusegun Oloketuyi MD/CEO WEMA Bank Plc Okey Ogunjiofor Creator Tava Awards amongst others.

A Hole In the Heart is the maiden edition of a series of stage play which will be organized periodically by the team of young and talented theatre troupe.

Legacy in Motion, is a youth group that originated from the Latter Rain Assembly. In their three-year existence, they have restricted their performances to the confines of Youth meetings. Over the years, they have been well received and have been encouraged to take their talents to a wider audience. ‘A Hole In The Heart’ is their first attempt in staging a play targeted at the general audience.
