NUC approves 5 courses, accredits 3 in FCE (Tech) Bichi



The Universities Commission (NUC) has accredited three courses run by the Federal College Education (FCE Tech) Bichi, Kano State, in affiliation with the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU),Bauchi.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Provost the College, Prof. Bashir Muhammad-Fagge ,on Saturday.

According to Muhammad-Fagge, the courses are: .Tech Electrical Electronics Technology Education; . Tech Metal Work Technology Education and . Tech Building Technology Education.

He said with this , the College presently offered eight courses level and all in affiliation with the ATBU,Bauchi.

“Another five new courses were approved by the commission after a resource visit by panels experts on the proposed programme,” he said.

And these courses are: .Sc (Ed) Agricultural Science; .Sc (Ed) Integrated Science; . Sc (Ed) Mathematics; B.Sc (Ed.), Biology; and B.Sc,(Ed.) Chemistry.

”The five additional courses are to commence immediately in the 2018/2019 session,” the provost said.

He said that the of the Directorate of Programmes of the college was one of his achievements as the provost .()
