“ After the draw at home, we were determined to win the next match against Wikki and we got it. We give glory to God.

“We have played 15 matches unbeaten after Gov. Nyesom Wike’s Cup.

The team is a praying team and with God on our side, we will get a continental ticket,”  he said.

Julius however acknowledged that Wikki Tourists were the better side despite losing at home to them.

He lauded the officiating and added that they would not relent in their next match against Remo Stars.

Sunday Abe, Captain of Sunshine Stars, said he was confident that the team would secure a continental ticket at the end of the season.

The Technical Adviser of Wikki Tourists, Aliyu Zubairu, when approached by newsmen, said he was not in a good mood to speak on the match.
