Nigerian Military Reaffirms ‘Unalloyed Loyalty’ To Buhari, Constituted Civil Authorities

The Nigeriàn military has reaffirmed its unalloyed loyalty to President Muhammad Buhari.Also,the armed forces have   reaffirmed  their subordination to “constituted civil  authorities.”

Director of Defence Information,Major General John Enenche,made the assertions during a press conference at the Defence Headquarters on Friday in Abuja.

He said, “Defence Headquarters reaffirms:  The unalloyed loyalty of the Armed Forces of Nigeria to the Commander in- Chief of the the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,President MuhammaduBuhari,GCFR.”

He also affirmed “Total subordination of the Nigerian Military to constituted civil authorities.”
Enenche also asserted the “Complete dedication of the military to its constitutional roles.

Enenche  also affirmed the “Dedication of the Armed Forces to the protection of lives and property of all peace loving people wherever they live in Nigeria.”

The DHQ also expressed its “commitment to routine training and regular exercising of troops, to keep fit professionally ,in order to tackle security challenges in the country.”

Furthermore,the military assured “the general public of conducting its duties and tasks in line with best international military practices.”
