The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Abdullahi, on Wednesday revalidated his All Progressives Congress (APC) membership at Galadima B Polling Unit of Umaisha Ward, Toto Local Government Area (LGA), of the state.

Speaking after the exercise, Balarabe-Abdullahi, representing Umaisha/Ugya constituency in the house, advised those carrying out the task of registration and revalidations, not to discriminate against people who were interested in joining the party.

The speaker noted that the exercise would give Nigerians who were not yet adults when the last registration was held in 2014, and those who defected from other political parties, the opportunity to join the APC.

“APC is for all Nigerians, I advise that anyone that wants to register should be given the opportunity, there should be no discrimination. Do not say this person belongs to this camp or the other camp.

“I want to congratulate myself for my successful revalidation; I thank the APC leadership for coming up with this very important exercise.

“I also commend His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, for supporting the party and organising this exercise in the state.”

The assemblyman then assured President Muhammadu Buhari and Sule, of his people’s unflinching support for APC.

He also reiterated the assembly’s commitment to continued support for the governor and APC in the state.

“Toto Local Government is home of APC in Nasarawa State and will continue to remain so.

“I want to assure that the local government (Umaisha), by God’s grace will deliver for APC in all future elections, from the position of President to the least elective post.

Balarabe-Abdullahi urged the people of the area to conduct themselves peacefully and cooperate with officials in charge of the registration and revalidation, to ensure success of the exercise. (NAN)
