Lobi Players Vow To Beat Kano Pillars To Avoid Relegation

Lobi Stars’ players have vowed to the league defending champions, Kano Pillars FC in last game of the season in Ala to avoid going on relegation.
The players said they are going to crush opponents in the last game of the season in Emmanuel Akume Atongo Stadium, -Ala in of teeming fans when they meet in the week 38 games.
Speaking on behalf of the players ahead of the crunch match that will define the status of the Makurdi based Glo league side ahead of next season, Barnabas Imenger, who is the team’s leading goal scorer, reiterated their commitment to the defending champions at home to remain consistent in the league.
“We are not going to leave any stone unturned in our quest to keep our slot league, despite hard times we are going through. The game against Kano will definitely define our status league and we can’t afford to blow ,” he said.
Lobi are currently on fifteenth position log with 49 points in 36 games, two steps above the relegation zone. And they will confront El-Kanemi Warriors today in Maiduguri in week 37 games.
Newsdiaryonline recalled that Lobi finished third league table last season and lost to Heartland of Owerri in 2012 FA cup final played at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos. The team had struggled to keep its last season form league, and was also booted out of the2013 FA cup semi finals by the eventual winners, Enyimba International FC of Aba.
