Jonathan To Address The Nation On Oct 1

As part of activities marking Nigeria’s 52nd Independence Anniversary, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will address nation on Monday, October 1, 2012.

A statement by Reuben Abati, special adviser president media and publicity said broadcast will aired at 7.00am. All television stations are advised hook on Nigerian Television Authority for clean feed, while radio stations should hook on the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.

The President will also watch a ceremonial Change of Guards by the Brigade of Guards, at the State House, Abuja. This ceremony will witnessed by Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo, President David Mark, House of Representatives Speaker Aminu Waziri Yambuwal and Justice Mariam Aloma Muktar, and the country’s heads of state, as well as members of the diplomatic , top political leaders and government officials.

The event will transmitted live, from 9.30am on the NTA and FRCN Networks.
